A sales letter funnel is a type of sales page that first starts with an enticement to the offer, followed by a series of messages, and then a call-to-action that requires a purchase decision.

Every message in this marketing tool must have the same goal: generating enough interest to make the website visitors want to buy right now.

At the end of each section, you can use your call-to-action for people to make the next move.

In every type of sale letter funnel, there is an incentive or bonus offered as ‘pay off’ for taking action.

The bonus could be a third part resource released after they sign up, any kind of discount coupon, an extended trial period for a product or service, or anything else that will make someone want to buy right now before it’s too late.

2) The Squeeze Page Funnel

A squeeze page is a marketing term for a webpage in which a visitor is onboarded to a list in exchange for something of value, typically in the form of a lead magnet.

It can also be used to refer to an email sequence that delivers a lead magnet.

Squeeze pages are often short and have a very limited number of fields on them–for example just one field for name and email address.

Typically when someone enters their email, they’re redirected to another page whereupon they then have access to the lead magnet they were promised.

3) The Lead Generation Funnel

Also knows as lead magnets funnel or lead gen funnel is when you offer people something that they will find valuable in exchange for their email address.

This leads them through your sales process to your product.

The membership funnels are one of two types of sales funnels where the offer is a recurring purchase with an ongoing payment.

This type of list is most often used by businesses that sell goods or services at a high unit price, like $100/month coaching program.

The goal of this type of list is to offer recurring revenue for businesses with high unit prices.

5)The Survey Funnel

The survey funnel is a great way for you to get respondents at every stage in the customer journey.

Some of these stages could include first-time visitors, returning customers or past buyers who have since changed their mind about making this purchase but want an explanation on why they made that decision before finalizing anything with another company.

The quiz questions vary depending on what your goals are as well as how targeted towards certain demographics (age range) – if someone’s answers indicate interests related specifically to one specific area then there will be more focus put into those topics during future communications from us!

6) The Video Sales Letter Funnel(VSL)

But with most Squeeze Pages Funnels these days following an old-fashioned strategy of getting someone’s contact info upfront may not work out as well in some cases–so I recommend doing things differently! Instead of asking right away after providing value via content such as a free course or lead magnet, I’d wait until the end of this funnel to ask for their email address.

8) The 2-Step Tripwire Funnel

The 2-step tripwire funnel is perfect to use when you’ve got a product or service that needs very little time commitment to get started.

It’s also great for products where you can start making money right away with minimal effort.

This type of funnel might work if you’re selling something like an ebook, membership site, live online course, etc.

9) The Live Demo Funnel

The live demo funnel is when you can demonstrate your product or service in real-time to the customer.

This is a great way to show off the capabilities of your product, and there’s no better way for them to see it in action.

If not in-person, this might also be done via screen share online.

10) Unboxing Funnel

An unboxing funnel is a type of sales funnel that includes the steps one would take to unbox and then review a product.

The first step is unboxing the product and taking pictures to share with your followers on social media.

This might include showing yourself opening the package and having fun with it or displaying how large or small it is.

Then you move on to the next step: reviewing the product, which should be an objective summary of your thoughts about it.

You could then give them the specific outcome they stated, or you could go ahead and create an easier solution. You can also offer them a free trial/demo of the solution to see if they like it.

17)The Cancellation Funnel

Is a way to convert ”window shoppers” into customers. You must have the ”cancellation funnel” set up when you are in the ”sales funnel”.

Customers will need to be persuaded enough before they can purchase your offer.

When setting up your cancellation funnel, you might want to consider what the most common reasons are for why someone would cancel their order.

You could offer additional services or products to provide them with more value. You could even go as far as offering someone a monthly subscription if they sign up today.

They might be hesitant about signing up at first, but they would eventually give in if they are receiving too much value from it.

To create a ”cancellation funnel”, you need to think about who usually cancels and what might convince them to stay a paying customer.

You could then offer this specific type of user the same deal but with extra bonuses or services that would make it harder for them to cancel.

18)The Application Funnel

You have built an application funnel to collect applications from potential employees.

An applicant’s journey typically begins with curiosity and interest in your company before eventually becoming a customer or client, which is when you can start asking for their time commitment as well!

This way of marketing helps identify people who might work with us if they’re interested enough – but it also works when we want more customers at higher price point.

We call this “take-away” selling method because all our efforts go right into building relationships instead of pushing products off onto them as other companies do behind closed doors 😉

“We want to hire smart people – do you know anyone who fits this description?”

-They may say: “I or someone I know would probably be a good fit for your company.”.

-They may say: “It’s not me, but I’ll tell my friends and colleagues about it.”

(If they’re giving their information so you can keep in touch with them, they are much more likely to be interested than someone who doesn’t want to know about any new developments).

-They may say: “I don’t know anyone but I will search for someone who might be a good fit.”

(This could also lead to someone else or even themselves applying for the position once they learn more)

If the person responds with “I don’t know anyone”, you can offer them to send them an email with more information about the position.

You can then state that you might have another opening in your company if someone doesn’t work out and that you would like to keep in touch with them since they are interested in your company.

19) The Product Launch Funnel

The product launch funnel is a way to let your potential customers try your product for free.

You could offer them a free trial or a demo if they sign up now.

You could also make the price of the product very low since people are still testing it out – this will act as an incentive for them to buy it.

People may be more receptive if they are allowed to try out your product or service. You could give them a free trial/demo, an introductory offer, or some other special deal that makes your product more accessible and affordable.

People might be more inclined to buy when they know their money is going towards investment in something good rather than just giving it to a company they’re not sure about.

“It sounds like you’re interested in working with us. We have something special for those who sign up now, would you like to try it out?”

-They may say: “Yes, I will give this a shot!”

-They may say: “No, I won’t be trying that out.”

-They may say: “I would like to try it, but I still have a few questions/concerns about the product.” (Once they know more about what you stand for and what your product is going to do for them, their interest might increase)

If the customer responds with “I don’t know”, you can ask them to let you know once they have made a decision.

You could also offer them an autoresponder so they can receive weekly updates from your company and see how other people are using what you’re selling to benefit their lives.

20)The Automated Sales Funnel

This funnel is a method that uses email automation to close the deal with customers.

It works by setting up an automated sequence, where each action in the sequence has a trigger that automatically sends them to the next step in the sequence.

Each mail sent will have different sentences and phrasing depending on who receives it, but they will all contain links to the next part of the sequence.

Many different types of functionalities can be added to an automated sequence. You could have them watch a video, fill out a form with their email address, download something for free or ask for an email address in return.

The goal is always to get their email address so that you can continue to communicate with them in the future.

It’s not uncommon for customers who are receiving these messages, although they are invitations to do something, to have their privacy invaded.

The people at the other end of the sequence will know everything about you and what attracted you to this product or service, and most people will not like this feeling.

21) The Daily Deal Funnel

This funnel is used to generate new customers for businesses.

All the business needs to do is offer a discounted price for a day or two on a product or service that they have on offer, and then at the end of the promotional period, an email will go out thanking people for having bought from them.

The idea is that people who did buy something during the sale will make a list of 10 things they need to do, and when it comes time to purchase something again, they will come back to the business where the deal was offered.

The problem with this way of working will often occur in the fact that people who receive these emails may already have bought these products.

If you, for example, ran a daily deal on books, everyone who bought one of your books during that promotional period would be contacted by email when they next need to buy something.
